HANOVER’S MISSION
Hanover Elementary School is a National Blue Ribbon learning community that believes in the ABC’S:
Achieving |
Achieving is Hanover’s primary goal. We hold high expectations for all our students. We believe that, with the guidance of standards provided by the state of Pennsylvania and the Bethlehem Area School District, our highly qualified teachers shall help each child reach his or her full academic potential, become a life long learner, and grow into a productive citizen in the community.
|
Believing |
Children succeed when they believe in themselves. We believe that every child possesses the capacity to learn. As a professional community of educators, we believe in our own abilities to not only teach, but to also inspire. |
Caring |
At Hanover there is not only mutual respect but a deep level of caring. We take care of one another. We make school a safe and nurturing atmosphere where we as educators would want our own children to be. When we see needs, we meet them.
|
| Sharing | Parents are the first and foremost teachers in their children’s life and they choose to share them with this school. The Hanover family includes parents, children, staff and the community at large in a true partnership. We encourage and expect parents and the community to be an integral part of the school and the educational process. All of us are both learners and teachers and in each of those roles we strive to share our gifts with our Hanover Family. |
